In Canada, nearly 120,000 people participated in over 35 sister marches from coast-to-coast, each organized with dedication, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make a positive statement on January 21, 2017.

Each sister march reflected the uniqueness of each community - some were marches, others were rallies, while some of Canada’s smallest communities held gatherings in support of the Women’s March. Many organizers also brought together a wide range of speakers and performers, and all provided a space and an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together in a moment of unity and solidarity.

Women’s March Canada also helped over 650 people travel and meet in DC for the historic Women’s March on Washington, with chartered buses from Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, Toronto, London and Windsor!
