Ensuring this movement is for all people
deconstructing systemic oppression within
the activist community
This work of Resistance is not easy. Worldwide we know the hours and days you commit to organising, to rising up, to speaking out, and to building coalitions. The work that women and LGBTQIA+ people of colour — especially Black women give to this movement is disproportionately more taxing — because along with the work and sweat they give to fighting for the rights of All people, they bear the burden of experiencing racism and sexism on a daily basis.
Women’s March Global is proud to officially launch How We Resist, a discussion series focused on issues surrounding the work of grassroots activism.
